Joshua Trejo- Played Forward for Polk County High School. Throughout his high school career Joshua Trejo was awarded All-Conference his sophomore, junior, and senior year. While playing for Polk they were conference champions all four years. Joshua Trejo was a state finalist his junior year. He was awarded All-State his senior year and was named Western Highland Conference Player of the Year. He than represented the West for the the West vs East All-Star game. Joshua Trejo continued playing on a scholarship to Spartanburg Methodist College. After graduating from SMC he continued playing soccer for Emory & Henry College of Virginia. He has also played USL Premier Development League for Palmetto FC in Greenwood, SC. Joshua Trejo is now currently coaching a Classic soccer team, Rutherford Rumble and has currently won one tournament with his team. They won the MAXPLAY Turf cup in Asheville, NC in spring 2015.
Omar Jimenez- Played Center Back for Rutherford Rumble Club Soccer and Chase High School. In High School Omar was All-Conference all four years for Chase. He was All-Region sophomore, junior and senior year of High School. All-State his junior and senior year and was awarded best defensive player in the SMAC conference his junior and senior year of high school. Also, Omar was selected to represent the West in the North Carolina, West vs East All-Star game. Omar is currently playing defense for Brevard College in North Carolina.
Joshua Trejo wanted to create a camp that would provide the proper education needed for players to develop. Trejo has been on both sides of the spectrum in the world of soccer. After graduating from Polk County High School, he went on to play soccer at Spartanburg Methodist College. There he met one of his most influential coaches, Dan Kenneally. After Graduating SMC he transferred to Emory & Henry College to continue his soccer career. After graduation from E&H, Trejo was given the opportunity to coach a local club team in his home town. Trejo soon became the Rutherford Rumble U-10 head coach and has been coaching since 2014. Joshua Trejo is now currently coaching the U-17 Foothills Football Club and Polk County Men's High School soccer team.
Angel Mondragon has been working with camp since the camp was established in 2016. Angel played in high school for Polk County and continued his love for soccer after graduating playing in different leagues throughout the state. In 2014, he became the assistant coach for local club team Rutherford Rumble. Angel still is involved with his former club, and is very excited for this years camp.
Omar Jimenez is a young asset for the camp that allows the players attending to see coaching from a college point of view. Omar is currently playing soccer for Brevard College and has been coaching the camp since 2016. Omar graduated from Chase High School and was awarded All-State his junior and senior year. Omar really helps the kids at the camp understand the hard work and responsibilities that comes with being a college athlete.
Victor Fabian has been involved with the youth soccer for a few years. He is currently the Goal Keeper coach for the U-17 Foothills Football Club. Victor is also a Chase High School graduate and has played along side with Omar. Victor has continued to play throughout the state, such as Asheville and Charlotte soccer leagues. Victor has made a huge impact at the camp working with different levels of players to help them reach their ultimate goals in soccer.
Erik Lee is from South Carolina, and played Goal Keeper for Spartanburg Methodist College. Introduced to the camp in 2017, Erik was very influential to the players that attended. Erik gives players an understanding of how the the game should be played from a analytical stand point. Lee is currently playing for Sparta 20/20 FC, which participates in the United Premier Soccer League.
Michael Guerrero from South Carolina, also played for Spartanburg Methodist College. Michael currently coaches for CESA (Carolina Elite Soccer Academy). He has experience coaching boys and girls of different ages and skill level. Michael's players from the club level have been very successful developing over the years. He joined our program last year and made a huge impact on the players.
